New Friendships
"Hey ladies look!" shouted
Alisa. She had just noticed there was a man across the street staring at them
through a window. He was a very short man with a small nose and he had a look
in his eyes where you could tell that he had two sides to him. He had a leather
jacket on and sweatpants, in his right hand he had a camera. As she sat in the
middle of her group of friends she pondered what could be going on. To her
right sat Clarissa and Penelope. To her left sat Roxy and Ruth. She stared at
him for what felt like a century before she said anything to her friends that
were sitting next to her. They all looked up at the man and smiled at
him.
“I
wonder what he’s doing”, said Clarissa
“I
dunno what he’s doing but whatever it is I don’t like it”, muttered Penelope.
“Just
sit here and smile girls, maybe he will just walk away?” said Alisa
Click, went
the camera as Robert took his picture and continued down the street. He was
hoping to get a couple more good pictures in before the day was over. Alisa was
shocked that the man had taken a picture and just left without saying anything
at all. While the rest of her friends ate the best chocolate pie in New York
she thought about running after the man. She decided that she would meet the man who took her picture and ran out of the store in a hurry. She caught up to the man as he reached the bus station and before he got on she talked to him for a brief time. They decided to get coffee and talk about Robert's pictures the next day.

I thought the dialogue was good. I wasn't really sure what the purpose was though, maybe not getting to worked up over little things?
Wasn’t really sure what the purpose was. The dialogue was really good.
I think the purpose was making decisions to find out what you want to know

This was good! Can't quite pinpoint the purpose, but I liked it nonetheless. Very well written - the dialogue was a great touch... It felt like I was a part of the conversation between the girls. Good job! :)
I agree with everyone else. Not sure about the purpose, but the dialogue was well done.
